About Dennis Frawley - Doctor of Physical Therapy

I attended undergraduate and graduate college at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011.  My clinical rotations included the outpatient physical therapy clinic at UIC, neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery rotations at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and a skilled nursing facility in Long Grove, IL.

Since graduation, I worked for 1 year at a private outpatient physical therapy clinic in Andersonville, Chicago while attending multiple continuing education courses.  Starting in 2012, I transitioned to home physical therapy, focusing my efforts in the underserved communities west of downtown Chicago.  I helped lead a program focused on diagnosing and treating various balance and sensory integration disorders, as well as training and supervising other therapists in the use of the balance program.

Due to frequent client requests to continue home physical therapy privately rather than transitioning to often understaffed outpatient PT clinics, I began treating clients privately in their homes.

I have extensive knowledge on proper nutrition and incorporate patient education into my plan of care in order to optimize over health and wellness. In 2022 I became a Certified Geriatric Care Professional.
